Summer dressing-its hot and don't we want the least amount of fabric touching our skin, allowing for air movement between us and whatever we are wearing? Thank goodness we are ladies and we have dresses!

Summer dresses, to me, are the easiest, chicest, most effortless way to look adorable in the summer with minimal effort-really no effort at all.

This dress is so light and flow-y that I feel free and as cool as possible wearing it. I know, it's hard to even want to get out of bed. Nonetheless throw on a dress. But thats just it. Throw it on! Et viola! You are finished. Oh and this one has pockets too.

Pair with some sunnies, a big bag to throw your summer essentials in, put on some easy sandals or flip-flops, hair up in a pony-tail, and you are ready to seize the day, or the living room. Throw on a cute, in the now hat if you are cruising around outside. Yes!

Lunch with my mom was easy and breezy and honestly I felt so happy to be outside, having lunch (misters in full-force), hearing other people's voices and feeling pretty. The simple things. Hoping for the end of this pandemic. Soon.

Les jours d'été

Ladies! Summer is here, and I realized I have not posted in quite a while because, well, we weren't going out at all and not wearing anything worth a post. Now that things are slowly opening back up, I felt it was time to get on with it and start posting again. This is my favorite summer dress so far - super light, long, with pockets (game changer!), and a sash to accentuate the waist, which also helps with the blousy-ness of the top portion of the dress. Worn with sandals, with heels, with flip flops, or sneakers, this dress will take you wherever you want to go. Versatility is the key here.

I wore this out to dinner, with simple sandals, a great statement ring, and a clutch. It's seriously like wearing PJs.The dress has long slits up the sides, coupled with the button front, you feel like you are strolling through the ocean breezes without a care in the world. A very important feeling during these difficult times of uncertainty. We all could use a little breeze and fresh air.

I think wearing this dress as a swimsuit cover-up would be super glam and gorgeous. With the buttons undone, open, tied or not, it would really be the hit of the pool party. Throw on some simple flip-flops or tennis shoes and Viola! Easy, breezy gorgeous.

The dress is very feminine, and I like that too. The stripes give it a subtle menswear feel, that you could wear to work with traditional pumps and a serious statement briefcase-style bag.

Camo!

Running errands-nothing special but wearing my favorite camouflage jeans with my favorite ballet flats makes it a bit more fun, and yes comfy! As we are all aware, so many women grab the black yoga pants, black top, black puffer and flip flops or sneakers when out and about...... :(

This outfit still has the comfy tank top we all love, and a big yummy sweater that (if needed) ties around the waist. Much more unique and interesting than the omnipresent spandex.

I do love these jeans, they are light, not tight, and hip. For a different look, pair them with a heel, a silky cami and a leather jacket or blazer, and you go from day to night in a pinch.
