It is finally time for boots! It's a wonderful feeling. Living in the west you get excited about this time when you can actually wear something other than sundresses, shorts, sandals and a tank top.

These boots are a bit looser on the calf, but not super baggy and not tight on the ankle bone. The texture is wonderful and they are comfortable as well. They are a great find and always add interest to any outfit.

For this look, pairing them is easy with a pair of skinny jeans. I threw on a sweater with a cashmere shirt jacket over it (I was really cold this day!). You could also pair the higher boots with a shorter, to the waist jacket to elongate the look of your leg, and accentuate your waist more. Another option is to take it a step further with a monochromatic look - with the jeans and the same color sweater or blouse, which would allow the boots to really pop out and be a focal point! Wonderful.

Either way, this a great outfit to kick around in for the day. If you wanted to pump it up a notch for evening, I would change the white sweater to a black silky cami or body suit, and change the shirt jacket to a leather jacket, fitted shorter blazer or even throw on a more structured overcoat type of jacket, that you could take off once indoors.

Enjoy, stay warm and kisses to you ladies!

Hot pink!! Wow these pants are an eye catcher. And they caught my eye from across the street of one of my favorite local shops. This outfit was on the mannequin and I had to try it on. You love it, or you hate it. You love color, or you always wear black. Its ok, either is great.

For a super duper special evening (My 10th wedding anniversary) this was the outfit I chose. It's luxurious, these fabrics are so incredible to the touch and they are a joy to wear. And they are sooo different from anything out there I have seen. The cut, on the bias, is unique (which I've learned is difficult to make). The fit; perfect, flow-y, not tight, not overly baggy. It's a wonderful change for a nice dinner with a view of the city lights, where people still get dressed up to go out. It was such a breath of fresh air in this time of complete weirdness.

My shoes are a nice high heel slip on, taupe and neutral in color to not compete with the hotness of these pink pants. The heels do have a shiny gloss to them which makes them gorgeous on their own. I chose a vintage satin evening bag, which I have had forever, and wore minimal jewelry. I threw on this amazing jacket, made by the same designer as the pants, which is the most fun jacket ever! Very Holly Golightly-ish meshed with a lab coat. I wanted to twirl and sing. I will absolutely be pairing this coat with all sorts of items this fall/winter season. Again, great cut, fabric and details (pockets of course) which make this coat super unique.

The great thing about this outfit? I could eat! Nothing is tight, the pants are slip on elastic, they aren't sucking me in, yet skim the body perfectly, still showing shape and super elegant.

I am so happy to finally post this outfit as I have been waiting to wear it for the right occasion. It is special, and I love everything about it; color, uniqueness, different cut and fit, and locally designed...... it makes me happy.

And ladies, as we move into the holidays, do whatever you can to make yourself happy - if that means pulling out your favorite and most beautiful outfit to wear; shoes, sweater, dress, whatever - even at home with your family, do it.

Kisses to everyone! xoxo

Shopping! Errands! Not so much fun, but hey, it's at least getting out of the house and around other people, and throwing on something fun definitely helps. This new blouse was my inspiration. I decided to tuck it in to these (fantastic) high waisted jeans, however the top is actually banded and hits at the natural waist, so you could wear it out-not tucked in-as it accentuates the waist nicely. It is a fantastic top. The sleeves are full and flouncy and there is also gathering on the sides and a deep V neckline to make it more exciting than just a white t-shirt. Its thicker, heavier cotton is wonderful for the fall days.

Do you ever feel a nice smile on your face when you're out and about and you took the time to do something nice for yourself? I felt this way with this outfit for some reason. I love everything about this daytime look. Ok the jeans are another fave of mine - high waisted skinnies with the button detail. And the shoes - I wish I could have these in every color and heel height, they are just so great. Anyways, this little errand running outfit was wonderful. I had to grab a jacket, so plucked this adorable bomber with the 'x' detail.

Et viola - super comfy and cute day outfit, which helped to put a smile on my face.
